When the word Segmentation comes around, the mind of marketers around the globe gets lost in the train of thoughts because of the beauty of this concept. This concept helps marketers target their content or product to the right people at the right time by categorizing the people into different segments like Geographic, Demographic, Psychographic, and Behavioral.

Now, it’s time to look at the World from a different angle with the lens of the same concept. People in this World or around the Globe are segmented as well. Now, you must be wondering that it is pretty obvious, and even a fool could tell this. But what are the parameters on which the World is segmented? Gender, Caste, Religion, Culture, Status, Income, Occupation, Lifestyle, Climate, and there are many more, right? I would say No, not at all. People in this World are segmented or categorized based on 12 strings that are Invisibly wired down to the earth through the creator of this World. At the end of each String, a Symbol or Logo is attached to it, which defines the String and the people belonging to the String.

The string number 1 has the symbol ofRam (Aries), the string number 2 has the symbol ofBull (Taurus), string number 3 has the symbol ofTwins (Gemini), string number 4 has the symbol ofCrab (Cancer), string number 5 has the symbol ofLion (Leo), string number 6 has the symbol ofVirgin (Virgo), string number 7 has the symbol ofScale (Libra), string number 8 has the symbol ofScorpion (Scorpio), string number 9 has the symbol ofArcher (Sagittarius), string number 10 has the symbol ofSea-Goat (Capricorn), string number 11 has the symbol ofWater-bearer (Aquarius), and the string number 12 has the symbol ofFish (Pisces).

Now, you must wonder what the criteria are for people to belong to a particular string? The wondering of yours makes sense. The requirements for the people to be a part of a specific string is their date of signing in into this World which is theDate of Birth. The people who take birth between 21 March – 19 April gets tied to theRam String (Aries), people who take birth between 20 April – 20 May gets tied to theBull String (Taurus),people who take birth between 21 May – 20 June gets tied to theTwins String (Gemini),people who take birth between 21 June – 22 July gets tied to theCrab String (Cancer), people who take birth between 23 July – 22 August gets tied to theLion String (Leo), people who take birth between 23 August – 22 September gets tied to theVirgin String (Virgo), people who take birth between 23 September – 22 October gets tied to theScale String (Libra), people who take birth between 23 October – 21 November gets tied to theScorpion String (Scorpio), people who take birth between 22 November – 21 December gets tied to theArcher String (Sagittarius), people who take birth between 22 December – 19 January gets tied to theSea-Goat String (Capricorn), people who take birth between 20 January – 18 February gets tied to theWater Bearer String (Aquarius), and the people who take birth between 19 February – 20 March gets tied to theFish String (Pisces).

Now let’s just assume that the World is a Market. All the people of each String are either customers, consumers, influencers, marketers or whatever you want to call according to the current terms for the people involved in marketing. And each String is performing or feeling differently at the same time. Again, it’s time to look at things from a different angle. If the creator of the World wants the people ofRam String (Aries)to feel optimistic and impatient regarding a product, then all the people in this String will undergo Impulsive Buying for a particular day. If the creator of the World wants the people ofBull String (Taurus)to have good intentions for a particular day, then throughout the day, all the people of this String would not add more profit margins on their products than allowed. If the creator of the World wants the people ofTwins String (Gemini)to be helpful to the people around them, then all the people of this String would somehow guide the next person who is shopping along with them to pick up the combo pack of noodles to avail more discount and save money for a particular day. If the creator of the World wants the people ofCrab String (Cancer)to be energetic while doing the sales throughout the day, then all the people of this String would be confident or energetic while giving the sales pitch to their clients. If the creator of this World wants the people ofSea-Goat String (Capricorn)to lead the team throughout the day, then despite being a team member, all the people of this String will act as a leader to get the task done. If the creator of this World wants the people ofWater Bearer String (Aquarius)to have trust issues throughout the day, then the people of Other Strings would have a tough time convincing all the people of this String throughout the day. If the creator of this World wants the people ofFish String (Pisces)to have all the power of the Universe for a day, then all the people of this String could bring the revolution in any sector of the business within a day.

The bottom line is the prediction of the day, daily comes for these 12 Strings on aggregate only. There are no such predictions that come for a particular Individual along with their name. There are 12 Strings which I mentioned in this blog, and these 12 Strings are the 12 Zodiac Signs which I believe we all are segmented by. And the date of signing in into this World, which isDate of Birth, is the criteria to know which individual belongs to which Segmentation.
