Department of Electrical Engineering is organizing a Guest lecture on "Energy storage in Modern Era: Technolgy overview on 11th November, 2020 from 1PM to 2 PM.
 Dr. Manoj Kumar Pandey  
working as a R & D head at Arihant Electrical, New Delhi has total 21 years of experience including 9 years in the field of power electronic system design, electromechanical axial system & control & instrumentation of electron beam accelerators at Bhabha Atomic Research Center(BARC), Mumbai. presently worked on lithium ion batteries & it's associated electronics for EV as well as energy storage solution.Energy storage is the capture of energy produced at one time for use at a later time. Some technologies provide short term energy storage, while others can endure for much longer. Bulk energy storage is currently dominated by hydroelectric dams, both conventional as well as pumped.Grid energy storage is a collection of methods used for energy storage on a large scale within an electrical power grid.
