December 2 is observed as National Pollution Control Day every year. The day is observed in the memory of those who have lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas tragedy on the night of December 2nd and 3rd, 1984.
To spread awareness on managing and controlling industrial disasters, prevent the pollution produced by industrial processes or human negligence, Institution's Innovation Council (ICC) in association with Samarpan Club, GIMS is organizing 'Nukkad Natak' on 2nd December'21 , 3.30 PM onwards. The theme of Nukkad Natak is to raise awareness about the importance of pollution control and to educate people on how to prevent pollution.
