Department of Electrical Engineering, GNIOT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, GREATER NOIDA, is organizing a webinar on “Design and analysis of DC to DC Converters used in PV systems” on 6th Aug, 2020 between 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM.
The webinar will primarily focus on enriching the students with the knowledge about role of power electronics in Solar Photovoltaic system. In recent years, a high voltage gain DC-DC converters plays an essential role in various nonconvential energy domains like photovoltaic system. They are widely used in photovoltaic systems as an interface between PV module and the load. These converter must be chosen to be able to match the maximum power point (MPP) of PV module when climatic conditions change with different resistive load values. So DC-DC converters must be used with MPPT controller in order to reduce losses in global PV System. All aspects regarding design, performance and analysis of DC-DC converters will be covered in this webinar.
