Department of Electrical Engineering, GNIOT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, GREATER NOIDA, is organizing a workshop on “Scientific writing using LATEX” on 30th July, 2020 between 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM.
The workshop will primarily focus on enriching the students with the knowledge of LATEX scripting language. The language was developed by Donald Knuth in 1978 to help scientists and researchers to publish papers in a standard format without having to worry about formatting, typesetting, alignment, references, etc. The LATEX platform possesses several advantages like low computation requirements, platform independent, horizontal and vertical alignment, smart automatic float placements, automatic numbering, easy cross- referencing and more.
