The student organizers of SRIJAN-GIMS MANAGEMENT FEST 2024 are pleased to declare the Fest's triumphant conclusion on April 10th at GIMS, Greater Noida.

The festivities encompassed a diverse range of engagements, including captivating dance displays, persuasive sales presentations, demanding case studies, innovative brainstorming sessions, enlightening debates, and intriguing interpretations. Each segment provided invaluable learning opportunities for participants from across Delhi NCR, with cash prizes awarded to commendable achievers in each category.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the winners for their remarkable success in securing cash prizes and to all participants for their active involvement and contribution. 

Anusmaran: The Alumni Club, GIMS, Greater Noida is delighted to share the resounding success of SILSILA: Alumni Meet 2024 held on 6th of April at Smoke House Pizzeria, Saket, New Delhi. The evening fostered a spirit of reconnection and reminiscence among esteemed GIMSians.

The event provided a cherished platform for alumni to reconnect with former classmates, reminisce about their time at GIMS, and celebrate the enduring legacy of the institution. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected members of the GIMS Alumni Association. Their leadership promises to usher in a vibrant new chapter for our alumni association.

The PGDM Batch 2023-25 of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, embarked on an industrial visit on Saturday, 6th of April at AppSquadz Software Pvt. Ltd.

AppSquadz, a leading software development company, is renowned for its expertise in leveraging data analytics for innovative solutions. The students were guided by an experienced team of software developers in regards to their project workflow. They understood the essential skillsets required  for a successful career in this sector. This industrial visit helped enrich our students’ vision and their commitments towards professional and educational development.

Abhyuday: The OB & HR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida, in association with Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) organized "Personality Development Workshop" for PGDM Batch 2023-25 on Wednesday, 20th of March.

The resource person, Ms. Kaninika Bharadwaj and Mr. Achal Galav, Youth Well-being Experts from Right Side Story, in partnership with Whisper and Gillette India, delivered the workshop. The primary aim of this workshop was to equip participants with essential skills for seamless integration into the professional realm. This transformative workshop was crafted to empower the students, providing them with comprehensive knowledge to elevate their personal and professional potential.

Hashtag-The Marketing Club, GIMS, Greater Noida, organised Marketing Mavericks Masterclass on “Crafting an Effective Sales Pitch: Understanding the Basics” on Saturday, 16th March, 2024 for students of PGDM 2023-25 batch. 
The resource person, Mr. Rahul K. Singh focused on key elements of creating compelling cold calls and sales pitches, including audience understanding, clarity, value proposition, objection handling, and call to action. During the session, students learned how to craft concise and clear messages that highlight the benefits of their product or service.

Under the guidance of our dynamic Director sir Dr Dhiraj Gupta, Greater Noida Institute of Technology (Engineering Institute)(CSE Department), Greater Noida in association with AICTE, New Delhi organized  Expert talks on “RoadMap to Mission Vikshit Bharat 2047” on 07.03.2024, 02:00 PM onwards. Speakers of the event were Dr Ajay Sharma, Senior delivery Manager, IBM India Pvt Ltd, Noida and Mr Shishir Tripathi, CEO, Tatkshan AQL Pvt Ltd.
'Viksit Bharat 2047' is the current government's roadmap to making India a completely developed nation by 2047; 100 years after independence. Our Hon’able Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has stated that the core objective of the Viksit Bharat vision is to foster inclusive economic participation among all citizens.

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida organized an Employability Skills Enhancement Program (ESEP) on “Digital Marketing Tactics for Product Success: From Reel to Real" for PGDM Batch 2023-25 on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
 
The resource persons Prof. Silky Gaur and Prof. Prachi Pachaury discussed about the insights of effective digital marketing strategies and how to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation for successful product promotion in the digital realm.

The student coordinators of the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, organised the Chanakya Talk Series (CTS) for the PGDM Batch 2023-2025 on Wednesday, 28th of February 2024.
 
During the enlightening session themed "Excelling the Corporate Expectations by Acquiring 21st Century Skills," Mr. Ashish Kumar, Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, provided invaluable insights to our students. He meticulously delineated the current job landscape, explained the essential skill sets, and discussed the RAINBOW factors, underscoring crucial credentials to include in resumes.The session fostered an environment of active engagement, with students benefitting from an interactive discourse.

Our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. John Wilsent, Senior Associate - Learning and Development at Cvent, connected with the audience on a deeper level and equipped students with the inside trade secrets on the correlation of HR and Social Media. His session focussed on how corporate HR professionals utilize social platforms to not only pre-screen candidates for a job but also help understand and learn about diversity and inclusion in the current changing scenarios. The session was a valuable addition to their academic milestones with a focus on improving and redefining their social presence before stepping into their respective corporate journeys.
