The speakers Mr. Prajjwal Sinha(Founder,KickHead Software Pvt. Ltd.) and Mr. kunal(Co-Founder, Amigoz) as speakers delivered a optimastic and motivational presentation on How to get a job in your dream conpany inspite of Covid 19 crises" Mr. Prajjwal Sinha explained and guided students regarding , what company looks for while hiring candidate? He also explained a proper way to create resume and also threw light on how students can approach compaines. Student must undergo throughAI/ML and python courses. Mr. Kunal laid emphasis on,how to prepare for interview, do's and dont's at the time of interview. Students of CS/IT/MCA were highly benefited by the session.
 

Department of mechanical engineering organised a webinar on “Best Career Paths: Mechanical Engineering” on 9th August, 2020 from 2.00PM to 3.00PM. This webinar was quite successful with valuable suggestions and support provided by the College Management and Director Sir (Dr. Rajesh Goyal). The session was quite interactive and all participants attended very actively as a result of excellent efforts made by our moderator, Mr. Kapil Kumar. Session was inaugurated by Director GNIOT (Dr. Rajesh Goyal) with his introductory session. HOD, ME (Dr. M.S. Rawat) focused on the prerequisite qualities of the Mechanical Engineers that are to be desired by any industry. Then our invited guest Shri Sandeep Puri, Managing Director, Hyde Engineering & Consulting, covered the remaining session by explaining secured future career paths during Covid-19 scenario and also the Importance of Mechanical Engineering in Industries in India & abroad. GNIOT Greater Noida started 'Industry-in-Institute' program, a new trend of training and learning in which a group of 20 top corporate technochrate associated with us. They will visit us whole year frequently in our institute to train students from first year and finally they will higher them. We are the first group to initiate this concept in AKTU. Corporate team will be lead by Mr. Anand Kumar singh, Solution Architect and HR head in a top MNC. They committed to higher 50 students by their team in top MNC'S.

Dr Anuranjan Misra, Dean Academics GNIOT, had attended the Inauguration of ‘Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020’ online. Inauguration session was addressed by Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, MHRD’s Innovation Cell, Shri V.S.K Kaumudi, IPS, Director General, BPR&D, Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE, Hon’ble Minister of State HRD, Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Hon’ble Minister of HRD, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank and Dr Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary,AICTE. The event had continued for 4 days(1-4 August 2020 ). Hon’ble Prime Minister had addressed the ‘Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020’ on 1-08-2020 at 4:30 PM. Dr Anuranjan Misra, Dean Academics, GNIOT, Greater Noida was appointed one of the Judges of ‘Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020’.

The Department of Electrical engineering organised a Workshop on “Scientific Writing using LaTeX” on 30th July, 2020. About 100 participants registered for the event from different institutes. The workshop was quite successful mainly due to valuable suggestions and support provided by the College Management and Director Sir (Dr. Rajesh Goyal). The sessions were quite interactive and all participants attended very actively as a result of excellent efforts made by our moderator, Mrs. Renuka Gandhi. Session was inaugurated by Director GNIOT (Dr. Rajesh Goyal) with his introductory session. Dean, ECE and EE (Dr. Shelly Garg), HOD, EE (Dr. R. L. Sharma) enlightened the advantage of document preparation using LaTeX for engineering students and faculty members. Dr. Mudita Juneja ( Researcher & Outside expert) taught the participants about how to write and complie a document in LaTeX. On the occasion of World Environment Day 2020, Tree adoption and poster making presentation was organised at GNIOT. Students participated remotely from their homes. Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty.

Friendship cricket match between teachers and staff on the occasion of Holi in GNIOT.
A friendly cricket match between the faculty members and staff members was played on the occasion of Holi on 6th March, in the college campus at GNIOT. A large number of students along with teachers participated as spectators in this game. All the participants and spectators in the game enjoyed the fascinating game. In the end, every member of the institute was victorious with the victory of the staff team. On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Goyal, Director of the Institute congratulated everyone on the friendship game and also extended heartfelt greetings and good wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Holi.

Department of Electronics and Communication organized one day Seminar on Roadmap of Internship for first year students in collaboration with INTERNSHALA – India’s largest internship platform. Internship and volunteer experiences make candidates more competitive in the job market. In addition to gaining exposure and experience in the field, they also provide an opportunity to see if the particular career field is the right one based on getting personal experience in the field.
This Seminar was conducted keeping in view the importance of need of internship. All students who enrolled for the seminar will be benefitted with the training and internship support. They all would be eligible for all the internship fair being organized by AICTE and Internshala.

Mechanical Engineering Department of Greater Noida Institute of Technology has organized an expert talk on “ADVANCED ULTRASUPER CRITICAL (AUSC) TECHNOLOGY” for third year and final year students. Sh. Anil Kumar (GM at BHEL NOIDA) delivered expert lecture focusing on Advanced Ultra Super Critical (AUSC) Technology that would be used in Indian Thermal Power Plant. In his lecture Mr. Anil Kumar has discussed the working of 800 MW AUSC, advanced ultra super critical technology based power plant with special focus on coal consumption saving, lower emissions and efficiency enhancement. He highlighted various methods of power generation in various power plants like subcritical, super critical, ultra super critical and advanced ultra super critical. He also elaborated that this technology has not been used so far anywhere in the world and India would be setting up power plant based on this technology through a consortium of BHEL, NTPC and IGCAR.
