The #youthfulness resonated at GIMS, Greater Noida Campus, to mark the Birth Anniversary of the Wizard of Hockey- Major Dhyan Chand, celebrating the National Sports Day at Yuvspandan- The Sports Extravaganza. The event was organized by Spardhaa- The Sports Club, #GIMSGreaterNoida, for its Management Millennials to learn, explore and dive deep into the spirit of Sportsmanship saluting the HERO of the Indian Hockey. The fervour of Sports was celebrated by one and all, the winners were cheered and the participants applauded by all present at the Closing Ceremony.

15th August is a great day and a proud moment for every Indian.On the occasion, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies(GIMS)  Celebrated 75th Independence day of India organized by SANSKRITI CLUB .Everyone on  the campus was geared up & enthused for the momentous occasion. Patriotic speeches on the theme ' Phir Muskurayega Bharat' were  delivered by both Ist Year & Final year PGDM students. Students spoke about the importance of the Independence Day & expressed their emotions through patriotic songs, speeches & dance performances. The highlight part of the show was speech delivered by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director-GIMS.He told the students about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. The second Step of the conclusion of BRIDGE Course was Aarogyam - Yog Abhyaas organised by Spardhaa - The Sports Club, GIMS Greater Noida on August 13,2021. The workshop was conducted under the Supervision of Col(Retd.) B.C. Yadav, Patron- Seva Bharti Gautam Buddha Nagar. The participants learnt various life skill techniques during the Yoga Workshop. Insights on the usefulness of the Yoga exercises Pranayam, Bhujang Asana, Surya Namaskar and many more were shared with the Future Managers in order to maintain their life not only healthy but mindful and balanced. In all the Aarogyam was a rewarding experience for one and all.

Darpan - The Job Expo organized by CCD, GIMS Greater Noida concluded through the Award Ceremony amidst the presence of the Corporate Guests Mr. Ashish Garg, Alumnus- SRCC, Manager- Training and Academics, IIFM and Ms. Neelanshi Rawat, HRBP- BLS International. The programme began with the Welcome Address of Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director - GIMS which was followed by the address of the Corporate Guests Mr. Ashish Garg and Ms. Neelanshi Rawat. The guests were quite impressed by the zeal and intent of our Millennial Managers. They reiterated the term Capable+Willing_(quoted by Director-GIMS)_to be quite befitting to our Young Managers. 4 Days Certification Program on “Digital Marketing & Social Media Marketing” was organised by HASHTAG, The Marketing Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies in collaboration with MSME TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE .The participants learnt the tools and best practices that empowers a marketer to plan, customize, and implement successful Digital Marketing Strategies—and meaningfully measure their impact. The program emphasized on the strategies that can help a marketer to engage, connect, and collaborate with  customers more effectively.

Self-Analysis directs to a better Understanding of Self ; Understanding of Self leads to Improvement; Continuous Improvement leads to Growth The One-Day Workshop  Aatm-Vishleshan based on the theme  _Self Analysis : Know Psyche and Personality Styles_, organized by CCD- The Centre for Career Development, GIMS Greater Noida, and conducted by Dr. Shalini Sharma paved a way to a better Understanding of Self for these young managers.  The workshop focused on the psychometric tool – The Big Five Inventory for the personality analysis of the participants. Enthused to know about themselves, the participants discussed their personality styles and the way forward to the apt career choices. "Always deliver more than expected" That's what every individual focuses on these days and for the same ABHYUDAY, HR Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) organized a workshop on Building the future of work with Google Workforce in association with Indian Institute of Digital Education, IIDE to demonstrate the usage, functionality and effectiveness of various tools provided by Google Workspace on 26th of May. The Resource Person for the Workshop was Mr. Akash Gogri, Business Development Head, IIDE. The session started with Welcome Address by Prof. Mayank Pandey (Program Head, GIMS) The workshop basically emphasized on the different features provided by Google Workforce, that are not provided by Microsoft Applications like (MS Office, MS PowerPoint etc). It also highlighted the integrated experience of Google Workspace in the New Normal. In the end of the session, Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Ruchi Rayat (Dean - Outreach & Student Welfare).

The Two Day Online Workshop on Essence of Entrepreneurship in this VUCA World, organized by Nutan-The E-Club, GIMS, Greater Noida for its PGDM students concluded on May 15th, 2021. The workshop traversed the participants through various nitty-gritties of an entrepreneurial journey like the importance of an Ideal Team Mix, the Funding process and foremost the idea finalization. The participants showcased their ideas to the facilitators and got their feedback from them as well. The Best Idea chosen was even assured to be looked upon by the facilitators on a serious note for the investment opportunities. It was an enlightening experience for one and all attending the workshop. The workshop pulled the trigger to take an Entrepreneurial Leap among many participants

Under the banner of Performance Improvement Program (PIP),  a workshop on ' HR Analytics & Metrics Professional ' was conducted for PGDM Ist year students with HR Specialization on 24th April'21.

 Key Takeaways of the session were: 

*Understanding of the process of creating and using HR analytics

*Support and design HR metrics and HR strategy Maps for strategic outcomes

*Learn the concept of dashboards and Score cards

*Use metrics and quantify key outcomes in recruitment, L&D, Compensation and performance management.

The workshop intended to develop skill set that would  empower future leaders to take better Decisions  and become Agile HR Managers.
