The Founder's Day 2020 was organized on 18 February 2020 at GNIOT Group of Institutions. Every year, on the birth anniversary of our founder late Shri Krishna Lal Gupta ji, this event is being organized.

Honorable Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ji (Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India), was to come as the Chief Guest of the program but due to his busy schedule he could not come. 

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp, with the distinguished guest Honorable Mr. Ashok Pradhan ji (Former Union Minister, Govt. of India) and Honorable Dr. Ashish Gautam ji (President, Divya Prem Seva Mission, Haridwar).

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank sent his message through Shri Ashok Pradhan ji. 

In his message, Dr. Nishank appreciated the educational institutions started by the late Shri Krishna Lal Gupta and his foresightedness in the field of education and described him as an inspiration for society.

Day 2 of National Seminar :

The day started with the keynote address of Shri H.K. Sharma,
Additional Director General-Supply, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI .

He imparted various practical problems related to Supply chain management system in Business Operations.

Dr. K.P. Singh, President, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Greater Noida addressed as
second keynote speaker of the 1st session and focused on how to improve Supply Chain in Micro and Small Industries.

• The day started with inaugural speech of *Dr. Savita Mohan.*

*• The chief guest Shri H.K. Sharma Additional Director General- Supply, G.O.I.* shared relevant data on technology advancement.

• The *guest of honour Dr. V.K. Sharma, Deputy Director General, National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), G.O.I.* shared his detailed views on Cyber Security Challenges.

*• Shri S.K. Sharma, Former National President, IIMM* focused on the importance of AI and machine learning.

*• Five Research Papers were presented today.*

*• The highlight of the day was the launch of 19th issue of biannual Journal of the Institute

To promote student centric learning, department of CSE at GNIOT has started Peer Training program. Under which first training is scheduled on 13th-14th Feb at college premise. This training is to be conducted by students itself for their peer students.

IT department of GNIOT has organized an expert lecture on "Securing virtual space: Challenges and Opportunities".The lecture was taken by Dr. Brijesh kr. Gupta who is an alumni of IIT Roorkee and director of Brannet Technologies Private limited-NCR Ghaziabad.It was a knowledge enhancing session.

Greater Noida Institute of Technology (MBA Institute)* invited Mr. Gaurav Bansal FOUNDER & CEO, Huplus Market Innovations Pvt Ltd. for Expert Talk on Entrepreneurial Ventures. He guided the students about the problems in starting Entrepreneurial Venture and other aspects. He also emphasized on the concept of women entrepreneurship.
